HTML and Internet Theory Question and answer
6.Write a note on LAN,MAN and WAN.
A Lan is a group of computers and network devices connected togethar usually within same building.
Lan stand for local area network .
The ownership of the LAN network is private means it managed by a person or group of person and private or gov offices or organizations.
The design meeans the layout of this network is easiar than other network and this is a big advantage of this network.
The speed in this network is higher than other network.
Maintenance of this network is also easy and cost effective.
LAN covers distance less than mile.
This type of network usually used in Hospitals, School, collegs and offices.
MAN :
A MAN is a larger netwrok that usually spand servel building on the same city or town.
MAN stand for Metropolitan Area Network.
MANs are owned by a group of users who jointly own and oparate the network
The speed of this network is moderate means highr than WAN but slower than LAN.
Maintenance of this network is difficult and cheaper than WAN.
MAN covers distance upto 100 miles.
MAN connects various location such as campuses, offices and gov offices, that are
frequntly use as link between buildings.
WAN :
A WAN is not restricted to a geo-graphical area. It connects servel LANs.
WAN standa for Wide Area Network.
WAN is not oprated by one or more person or organization. May be limted to the an enterprise or accessible by public.
Maintenance of this network is very difficult and costly.
WAN covers distance more than 100 miles.
The crowd on this network is more than LAN and MAN.
This is used connecte two city, state or country.
3.Write a note on advantages of Internet.
1. Write a note on structure of HTML.
ANS)
The basic structure of an HTML document consists of 5 elements:
The <head> element surrounds all the special “behind the scenes” elements of a web document. Most of these elements do not get displayed directly on the web page.
2. Explain CANVAS in detail with example.

3. Write a note on Input type attribute of form?
4. Write a note on Multimedia elements in HTML5.
5. Explain Topology with example.
Bus Topology :
Bus topology is a network in wchich every computer and network devices are connected to single cable. When it has exactly have 2 endpoints it's called Linear bus topology. The single cable called backbone.
It is passive topology which means only one computer at a time can send message.
The bus topology is simplest and widely used LAN design and found in client/server system.
Advantage :
Disadvantage :
Ring Topolody :
The ring topology is similar to the linear bus topology, except that the nodes connected in circle using cable.
In this layout, each node is physically connected to other two nodes
Each nodes passes information along to the next, untill it arrives its destination.
Advantage :
Disadvantage :
8. Write a note on Protocols. Explain any two in detail. or 8.Write a short note on email protocols :
9. Explain Ordered and Unordered list with example.
1. Explain <Frameset> and <frame>with example.
2. Write a note on Hyperlink in detail.
3. Write a note on Image Map.
4. Write a note on DNS.
ANS)
Short for Domain Name System (or Service or Server), an Internet service that translates domain names into IP addresses. Because domain names are alphabetic, they're easier to remember. The Internet however, is really based on IP addresses. Every time you use a domain name, therefore, a DNS service must translate the name into the corresponding IP address. For example, the domain name www.example.com might translate to 198.105.232.4.
The DNS system is, in fact, its own network. If one DNS server doesn't know how to translate a particular domain name, it asks another one, and so on, until the correct IP address is returned.
Domain Name Systems: Domain Name Systems (DNS) is mechanisms that assign easy to remember names to IP address. Domain is a large group of computers on the Internet. Under this scheme each computer has an IP address and a domain name. Domains have been made on the base of organization type or geographical locations, e.g., the domain name google.com (where, com indicates that Google is a commercial organization)
5. Write a note on markup elements.
6. Explain Video tag in detail with example.
7. Write a note on adding background color and image in HTML.
8. Explain IFrame with example.
9. Explain <img> with all its attributes and example.
10. State the difference between inline (span) and Block level (div) elements.

1.Online Shopping:
Now today’s the trend of online shopping is growing up very
fast. Users have now the facility of shop everything what they want without
going outside to stores and super markets.
2.Benefits for Students Studies:

4.Entertainment:
Every day new movies and music lunched in every country
almost. People how are fond to watch movies or listen music. They can easily
find latest music and movies on Internet and can download it and also watch it
online.
5.Results and Roll No:
Students of Universities and Colleges now even the students
of Schools are easily see their results on internet. To access to the result
you must need to put the right roll no in the search bar of school or college
website.

2. Explain CANVAS in detail with example.
ANS)
The HTML <canvas> element is used to draw graphics, on the
fly, via scripting (usually JavaScript).
The <canvas> element is only a container for graphics. You
must use a script to actually draw the graphics.
Canvas has several methods for drawing paths, boxes, circles,
text, and adding images.

The <canvas> element is only a container for graphics. You

Canvas has several methods for drawing paths, boxes, circles, text,
and adding images.
Canvas has great features for graphical data presentation with an
imagery of graphs and charts.
In HTML, a <canvas>
element looks like this:
<canvas id=”myCanvas”
width=200 height=100></canvas>
The <canvas> element
must have an id attribute so it can be referred to by JavaScript.
The width and height
attribute is necessary to define the size of the canvas.
By default, the <canvas> element has no border and no
content.
To add a border, use a style attribute:
<canvas id=”myCanvas”
width=200 height=100 style=”border:1px solid;”></canvas>
Drawing Lines
To draw a line, we use four canvas API methods. We start with the beginPath() method
which instructs the browser to prepare to draw a new path. Next, we use
the moveTo(x, y) method to set the line’s starting point. Then lineTo(x,
y) method sets the ending point and draws the line by connecting the two
points.
Example :
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<body>
<canvas id="myCanvas" width="200"
height="100" style="border:1px solid #d3d3d3;">
Your browser does not support canvas tag.</canvas>
<script>
var c = document.getElementById("myCanvas");
var ctx = c.getContext("2d");
ctx.moveTo(0,0);
ctx.lineTo(200,100);
ctx.stroke();
</script>
</body>
</html>

Advantage :
- It is cost effective.
- It is simple and reliable.
- Required least amount of cable than other topology.
- It is easy to understand.
Disadvantage :
- If single cable breaks the whole network will fail.
- Heavy network traffice can slow down the bus consideradly.
- It is difficult to troubleshoot the bus
Ring Topolody :
The ring topology is similar to the linear bus topology, except that the nodes connected in circle using cable.
In this layout, each node is physically connected to other two nodes
Each nodes passes information along to the next, untill it arrives its destination.
Advantage :
- Beacause every computer is given equal access to the token, no one can monopolize the network.
- It is cheap to install and expand
Disadvantage :
- Failure of one coputer on the ring affects the whole network
- It is difficult to troubleshoot a ring topology.
- Adding or removing computers disrupts the network
